Police Crime Report 04/15/24 To 04/21/24


Shrewsbury Police Crime report April 15th through 21st:

  • On April 15th, officers responded to a business in the 7500 block of Watson Road for a report of two suspicious vehicles, neither with license plates attached, at the rear of the business and the business did not want them there. Officers contacted both drivers, one was cooperative, one was not. Want to guess who had the felony warrants??? Cooperative fella was released on scene with traffic citations. Uncooperative fella was released to the jail.
  • On April 19th, Detectives began an investigation regarding identity theft in regard to a subject who provided police with identifying information of another person during a police contact in February. The suspect’s actual information has been identified and she’s about to learn a great way to turn a minor offense into a felony. The investigation is ongoing.
  • On April 20th, officers responded to an apartment in the 7600 block of Watson Road for a report of a disturbance among acquaintances in which a firearm was exhibited. Two adults were arrested, and a firearm was seized as evidence. The case will be submitted to the Saint Louis County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office for review of the charges. Thanks to the St. Louis County Police Department for sending officers to assist.

During the week of April 15th – April 21st, along with regular calls for service and traffic enforcement, the Shrewsbury Police Department responded to 15 shoplifting incidents along the Watson Road business corridor, 8 motor vehicle accidents, 2 residential and commercial alarms, and assisted the Fire / EMS Department on 19 calls.
