Public Works

The Public Works Department is responsible for the construction, maintenance, and repair of the City’s infrastructure systems, including parks, storm, water, streets, sidewalks, and signage. Construction and repair responsibilities are scheduled at specific times throughout the year, while maintenance responsibilities such as parks and streets are generally conducted on an ongoing basis.

The Public Works Department is also responsible for snow removal services and for clearing post-storm debris from public right-of-ways.

The Public Works Department also facilitates the City’s Sewer Lateral Repair Program. This program was designed to help residents who have to pay for sanitary sewer lateral repairs between its connection with the sewer main and the house connection.
