The Great Jigsaw Showdown
Do you like building puzzles? Are you competitive? Shrewsbury Parks and Recreation is pleased to announce a brand-new event, The Great Jigsaw Showdown! This is a 2-hour Jigsaw puzzle-building competition with a fun atmosphere with prizes, and an optional puzzle swap table. To swap: bring in your old puzzles (no missing pieces please) and trade with other puzzlers. Teams are welcome to bring snacks and drinks. All teams will receive the same 500-piece competition puzzle, then will race to finish them the fastest. The top three teams will receive prizes for finishing the puzzle the most quickly, and all teams will be able to take home their competition puzzle at the end of the event. Teams may range from 2-4 people. Only one person per team needs to register. Sponsored by Puzzledly.

Shrewsbury Spring Craft Fair: May 18th

EVENT INFO: We've hosted our annual Holiday Bazaar for over 10 years and see upwards of 1,000 people each year. This is our first Spring Craft Fair and we can't wait to see all the great spring creations that our vendors bring to this event. The fees are $50 for a booth with a table or $40 per booth without a table, Booth spaces measure 8ft x 6ft. Tables are 3ft x 8ft. No electricity will be provided to booths. This is an indoor event taking place in the Shrewsbury City Center (5200 Shrewsbury Ave).

SCAM Warning: All official communications and payments for the Shrewsbury Spring Craft Fair will be handled by the Shrewsbury Parks and Recreation Department. We will not request payment via third-party services (Venmo, Paypal, Zelle, etc) or direct vendors to apply online using a google form.
Jump into Summer! Summer Kick-Off Party
Join the Parks and Recreation Department as we kick off the summer in style! We will have music, games and more! Open to current pass holders and their guests. Each pass holder can bring one guest, free of charge.

Shrewsbury Nights
Come out and enjoy a night full of live music, food trucks, local businesses and much more. Each event will be held at the Festival Pavilion in Wehner Park. Do you have a food truck or are you in a band who are interested in coming to Shrewsbury Nights this season? Contact the Parks and Recreation Department at parks@shrewsburymo.gov

Dive-In Movie
Grab your family and friends to enjoy an outdoor movie while swimming under the stars at the Shrewsbury Aquatic Center. Concessions will be available for a portion of the event. Don’t miss out on this family fun night! Open to current pass holders, all ages welcome. Movie TBD.

National Night Out
Don’t miss this opportunity to show your appreciation to the Shrewsbury Fire and Police Departments for all they do in our community during the annual National Night Out event. This event will take place at the Festival Pavilion in Wehner Park. Food, music, games and much more!

Drool at the Pool
Bring your pup to enjoy a dip in the pool after we close the pool for swimming for the season! Must provide current shot records for each dog (valid through event date). Register in advance at the Shrewsbury City Center for $10 per dog, or pay $15 cash/card, at the door. Humans are free and are welcome to wade, knee-deep, but no swimming is allowed.
