Police Department Honors & Awards

2022
- The Meritorious Service Citation:

          - Sergeant A. Lawson for his actions with a barricaded subject in January 2022
          - Officer Q. Johnson for his actions with a barricaded subject in January 2022
          - Officer Z. King for his actions during a fatality accident on Interstate 44 in March 2022
- Chief's Commendation Award:
          - Officer Q. Johnson for his actions during a fatality accident on Interstate 44 in March 2022
          - Captain B. Goewert for his dedication and commitment to the department
          - Lieutenant T. Melugin for his dedication and commitment to maintaining CALEA accreditation
          - Sergeant M. Devine for his dedication and commitment to maintain the Crisis Intervention Team (CIT) Program
- Chief's Certificate of Merit:
          - Officer D. Ellington for his actions during an attempted assault against him in May 2022

2021
- Life Saving Award:
          - Sergeant P. King for his actions saving a life during an overdose call for service in June 2021
          - Sergeant A. Lawson for his actions saving a life during an overdose call for service in June 2021
- The Meritorious Service Citation:
          - Sergeant T. Foltz for his swift actions during an armed robbery with injury to the victim in April 2021
          - Sergeant A. Lawson for his swift actions during an armed robbery with injury to the victim in April 2021
- Chief's Commendation Award: 
          - Detective R. Thieret for his actions during an armed robbery with injury to the victim in April 2021
          - Officer Z. King for his actions during an armed robbery with injury to the victim in April 2021
