Shrewsbury Police Crime Report 03/20/23 to 03/26/23

On March 20^th, an officer assisted a business in the 7700 block of Watson Road in removing a vehicle abandoned on their lot.
On March 21^st, officers responded to the 7600 block of Watson Road for a report of a stolen Hyundai that occurred sometime since 3/19. The investigation so far has revealed the vehicle was stolen on 3/21 and an adult female was arrested driving the vehicle, which was recovered, by Richmond Heights PD. The investigation is ongoing.
On March 24^th, officers responded to the 7600 block of Watson Road for a report of a stolen Hyundai. The investigation so far has revealed the vehicle was stolen on 3/23. The vehicle has not been recovered at time of this writing. The investigation is ongoing.
On March 25^th, officers responded to the I44 exit ramp at Shrewsbury Ave. for a report of a vehicle crash where the striking vehicle left the scene. The investigation is ongoing.
On March 26^th, a resident of the 7700 block of Thetford Court reported the theft of a diamond ring. The investigation is ongoing.

During the week of March 20^th- March 26^th, along with regular calls for service and traffic enforcement, the Shrewsbury Police Department responded to 1 shoplifting incidents along the Watson Road business corridor, 8 motor vehicle accidents, 3 residential and commercial alarms, and assisted the Fire / EMS Department on 19 calls.
