  • Update to the purse snatching at Dierbergs on 03/03/2023. Two suspects were identified and are in custody in another count on $1,000,000 bond each. Both are suspected in a string of crimes ending with a very violent act in that county on the same day. Charges are pending with the Saint Louis County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office. Further information will be released when/if formally charged by the Prosecuting Attorney regarding this case.
  • During the week, we received a few different calls for groups trying car door handles during overnight hours. Thanks to these calls, we were able to converge on the areas, preventing any known victimization. Keep the calls coming!  Thank you for being additional eyes for us.

During the week of March 13th  - March 19th, along with regular calls for service and traffic enforcement, the Shrewsbury Police Department responded to 4 shoplifting incidents along the Watson Road business corridor, 16 (oh my) motor vehicle accidents, 3 residential and commercial alarms, and assisted the Fire / EMS Department on 14 calls.
