Candidate Filing for April 4, 2023 General Municipal Election: December 6-27

The City of Shrewsbury will hold a General Municipal Election on Tuesday, April 4, 2023, for Members of the Board of Aldermen (one Alderman each from Wards 1, 2, and 3), each elected for a two-year term. Candidate packets are available from the City Clerk.

Filing for these offices opens Tuesday, Dec. 6, at 8 am and closes Tuesday, Dec. 27, 2022, at 5 pm.

All candidates must file in person in the City Administration office at the Dan Lowery Shrewsbury City Center, 5200 Shrewsbury Avenue, Shrewsbury, MO 63119.

The filing hours are 8 am to 5 pm on Tuesday, Dec. 6, and 8:30 am to 5 pm on subsequent days except for Saturdays and Sundays and on days designated a holiday by the City of Shrewsbury.

The filing fee for a candidate for Alderman is $15 payable by card, check or cash.
