Tiny Tots Open Gym
Let the fun begin! By popular demand, we’re bringing back Tiny Tots Open Gym, with a new time for Spring 2024. Watch your little ones’ confidence soar as they navigate new challenges, make friends, and experience the sheer joy of discovery. It's a great opportunity to have a blast running and playing in the gym with mini-trikes, gymnastic equipment, and more, plus adults can make new friends too.
Dates: Ongoing: Tuesdays & Thursdays (March -May)
Time: 10:00 am - 12:00 pm
Ages: Recommended for Ages 1-Kindergarten
Fee: $3 per child, Free for Pass Holders, Free for Adults and kids under the age of 1.
Friday Night Kids Bash
Kids! How about leaving your parents behind for a night and having a blast at the City Center? Parents, this is your chance to sign up your little ones for an unforgettable electronic-free evening! We have loads of fun activities planned - from exciting games to arts and crafts. And guess what? We've got delicious pizza, refreshing drinks, and a tasty snack all lined up! So, why wait? Join us for an epic night of enjoyment! * Registration Deadline: 7 Days Prior to Each Date.

Passport Challenge
Did you know Shrewsbury has 4 parks and 5 playgrounds? Get to know your parks during our new passport challenge. Visit every park to find our hidden clues, once found: follow the steps to check off each park on your list. Passports can be picked up and returned at the Parks and Recreation Desk for a prize. This program is free and runs from April 1st to May 31st.
Princess Parties
Shrewsbury Parks and Recreation has invited the princesses to host the most magical event of the year! The guest of honor is YOU! Join your favorite fairytale characters for joy, laughter, and happily ever after. This event will feature characters and activities that are NEW to the STL area! Interactive Frozen Storytime with Elsa & Anna! Special Springtime Craft with Rapunzel! Take Home Gift! Dance Lessons!

Search for Treasure: Geocaching 101
Join members of the St. Louis Geocachers Association to learn about this fun adventure game! There will be a short presentation at the City Center, followed by an opportunity to find geocaches in Wehner Park with the help of experienced geocachers. Learn about: rules of the game, geocache placement, using the geocaching app, handheld receivers, travel bugs and more. For Kids and Adults, all ages welcome.

Grilling with Dad
Calling all dads, grab your best bud and your speediest remote-control car and your best buddy for a fun afternoon in the park! We'll barbecue, play games, and top it all off with an exciting remote control car race! It's gonna be a blast, so don't miss out!

Tippi Toes
We are thrilled to be offering Tippi Toes dance classes again at Shrewsbury City Center for their 2024 Summer dance season! Classes will be offered on Monday and Tuesday evenings and offer open enrollment throughout the year, so it is never too late to join a class! Enroll TODAY before classes fill up! They offer classes for both girls and boys ages 18 months to 12 years. It is their mission at Tippi Toes to develop a love of dancing in children by creating a positive experience that promotes healthy living habits, helps build self-confidence and a love for others. They begin every class with warm-ups and stretching exercises as well as activities that encourage boys and girls to use their imagination. They then introduce ballet, tap and jazz or hip-hop techniques using dance terms and examples to enhance their knowledge of the art.
Summer Class Tuition: $60/month (Tiny Toes), $70/month (Ballet, Tap & Jazz)
