gym Gym Rental
The basketball gym at the Shrewsbury City Center is available to rent for team practices, coaching clinics, parties and more. Please note: The gym is for basketball, pickleball and open use only. The gym is available during the following times/dates:
Full Court Rental: Residents & Non-Profits- $40/hr. Non-Residents - $50/hr.
8pm - 10pm Monday through Thursdays
4pm - 10pm on Saturdays
3pm - 10pm on Sundays.

Half Court Rental: Residents & Non-Profits- $25/hr. Non-Residents - $35/hr.
6pm - 8pm Monday – Thursday

Open Play Pickleball
Drop-In at Shrewsbury City Center
Three ways to join: Included with City Center Membership/ $2 per person drop-in fee/ or purchase a 10 visit punch card for $16. Open play for all skill levels. See schedule for hours.

Pickleball at Brinkop Park
When the weather permits, a Pickleball net will be set up at Brinkop Park for open play. The court will be available every day of the week and on weekends! The net will remain up until the weather turns consistently cold, so feel free to stop by and play with your family and friends.

Pickleball Clinics with Callahan Pickleball Academy

Pickleball Fundamentals- Beginner/Novice
Designed for individuals who are new to the exciting world of pickleball or those looking to refine their skills. In these interactive and engaging classes, you will receive hands-on instruction from our experienced pickleball coaches who are passionate about helping you develop a strong foundation in the sport.
Dates: Saturdays: Session 1: October 7, 14, 21
Session 2: January 13, 20, 27
Session 3: February 10, 17, 24
Time: 4:30-6:00 pm
Fee: $75/Resident, $90/Non-Resident
Ages: Open to All Ages 13+

Pickleball Skills and Drills- Intermediate/Advanced
Whether you've been playing for a while or have recently advanced from beginner level, this class will provide you with the knowledge, strategies, and techniques necessary to excel in the sport. Engage in challenging drills and simulations that replicate real match scenarios with experienced pickleball coaches.

Session 2: January 13, 20, 27
Session 3: February 10, 17, 24
Time: 6:00-7:30 pm

Pickleball Party Clinic, with Callahan Pickleball Academy

Enhance your skills in one of the fastest-growing sports in the world! Our pickleball party clinics provide high-quality coaching and instruction covering all aspects of the game for Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced players. Learn how to analyze your opponents, make smart shot choices, create effective partnerships in doubles play, and adapt your game plan in different situations. Skills, drills and social play led by Callahan Pickleball Academy in 1 day clinics.
